Day off!

Today I shall be mostly visiting the British Library, doing that family history thang. Actually, I have more lookups for the India-Lgroup than for myself, but most of them are for members who live in Australia, and it's not as though they can just take a day off to look a few things up in London. Plus I have the added help/hindrance of The Father, who will doubtless be more excited and less controllable than a small child after a pint of tartrazine. I have made him a nice list of Things To Do and that should keep him focussed.

In other news, the hat I was knitting for a premature baby has turned out large enough for me to wear. Hmm. Not sure that I want a mint-green furry hat with ears on. I shall consult the knitwitches on Simply Knitting tomorrow, for they are gifted in the ways of the Knit. I suspect the baby and his mother may end up getting matching hats! :D I probably shouldn't have substituted 5.25mm needles for 5.75...
